Masae is frequently contracted to remotely follow progress on construction projects financed by international donors (schools, hospitals, roads, …). These assignments can also include the analysis of infrastructure expansion to track economic activity potential (new piers, storage facilities, transport networks).
Solution
The team selects, buys and process very high resolution (VHR) satellite images of reported areas and points of interest to carry out:
Visual or automatic change detection processing depending on the use case and covered area
Reporting of observed changes confirmed by secondary source
