Context and Issues
Masae was missioned by the GSM Association (GSMA) to design and develop a dashboard allowing to visualise and query a database containing worldwide mobile money usage indicators.
Solution
Masae devised and implemented a visualisation platform showing metrics such as number of accounts, number of agents, transaction value, transaction volume, etc.
The dashboard mixes both temporal visualisations, to provide insights on the evolution of the market, and year-specific visualisations to provide snapshots on the state of the market.
The dashboard was designed in Power BI, and was further integrated into the GSMA web servers and published on the main website. The dashboard is public and can be accessed at the following link: www.gsma.com/mobilemoneymetrics/#global
