Livelihoods in several regions of Middle-East depend heavily on wheat production, which has been suffering from consequences of the conflict on irrigation infrastructure, climatic evolutions, and remains difficult to evaluate.
Solution
Masae leveraged remote sensing tools and machine learning algorithms to granularly map wheat production and calculate its yield, both for the latest season, and for previous one.

Leveraged data on climate to evaluate the impact of changing conditions (temperature, precipitations)
Used misc. satellite sources to map irrigation infrastructure
Masae developed a geospatial mapping web platform making it easy for the client to analyze and display the resulting layers and data.
